Dear Alumni and Friends:

As the College of Behavioral and Community Sciences (CBCS) grows and develops it is truly making its mark here at USF. Established in 2008, our CBCS collaborative units and academic strength position faculty, students, and staff to help lead the way in USF's charge to become a preeminent research university with state, national, and global impact. Our tri-fold mission of teaching, research, and public service continues to chart the College's course and establish its priorities. As we continue to develop innovative community and behavioral health education programs, trainings, and policy models we must also shape our mission to meet the challenges and opportunities of this century. To remain a viable choice for the top students in Florida and the nation, we must offer more scholarships. To become a viable choice for outstanding faculty, we must offer distinguished professorships, opportunities for professional development, and state-of-the-art resources. To prepare our students for an increasingly complex and competitive marketplace, we must provide them with an optimum learning environment and opportunities for global experiences.

Loyal alumni, dedicated friends, and committed corporate partners are vital forces in making this College successful. We hope that you will remain actively engaged in CBCS, and we have put together this website for you to stay connected and learn about the exciting things happening in our college. In addition, we hope you will consider recruiting our students for internship and employment opportunities for our current students and recent graduates.
